Whether buying or selling, residential or commercial, manufactured or site-built, new-build or resale, or vacant land, you’ll quickly find out that a number of resources are required, and the person you are going to look to for them is—you guessed it—your realtor.
A local realtor, by nature, has local resources. He or she works with them, on a regular basis, and knows who to call for what job. They’ve built and honed relationships and networks; they know lead-times; they know who you’re going to need to call before you do, and likely have back-ups for you if that person is busy.
Connections to local resources absolutely are key— Time is of the essence, particularly when it comes to real estate, and having burn through hours and days hunting for and researching multiple resources, only to find out that you can’t even get them scheduled in the time frame in which you need them, can be costly in multiple ways.
