LOCAL KNOWLEDGE IS IMPORTANT

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE IS IMPORTANT

Local realtors have their fingers on the pulse of their market. They know what’s happening in their neighborhoods; they understand the inventory, the local housing trends, and how to find what their buyers and sellers want, and need.

Their local market expertise can give their buyers an edge by tapping into their network and local knowledge—if a realtor has a buyer who loves to golf and wants to wants to buy a new-build, then knowing that a developer will be opening a section of a subdivision in a golf community within the next few months can be key.

Local realtors also know and understand the nuances between different areas of the same town—from topography, to climate differences, to different services, and different lifestyles.

Local realtors also know what’s customary, and what isn’t, for offers and listings in the area. What do buyers look for and expect? What do sellers typically offer? If you’re thinking of building, what do you need to know when building in this area that’s different from building in other places? If you aren’t from the area, you don’t know what you don’t know, but a local expert—your local realtor—does.

Local experience, local knowledge, local expertise—they all matter, they can all have a huge impact on your home-, land-, or commercial property-buying experience, and they can all be found in one place—your local realtor.
